Norman is a Cheadle Civic Society committee member and is Heritage Management Director (Archaeology) of the Greater Manchester Archaeological Advisory Service. He is passionate about the local area’s heritage. He has spent over 30 years working on archaeology in the Greater Manchester area, and recently co-authored the Cheadle Civic Society booklet on Cheadle’s archaeology and early history.
