|2014 Christmas Victorian market
The second Christmas Victorian market took place throughout the heart of Cheadle on Saturday 6th December, 2014.
The main locations were Cheadle Green, St Mary's church, White Hart pub car park and Rectory Gardens and literally thousands of local people came to enjoy the occasion. A large number of stall holders were in place from early morning selling everything from tasty local food products to colourful Christmas gifts. Despite the cold weather, activities carried on in some locations until well into the evening and most people were keen to stay as long as possible. Many people also dressed up in period costumes.
As with the inaugural event in 2013, the Cheadle Civic Society played a key role in helping to organise the event and most people who attended felt it was a very successful day.
Below are a variety of photographs taken at different locations during the day
